NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Atherton has prepared an Initial Study/ Negative Declaration (IS/ND), pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the Town of Atherton Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Atherton City Council will hold a public meeting to consider the IS/ND and the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall of the Town of Atherton, at which time and place all persons interested may appear and show cause, if they have any, why the IS/ND should or should not be adopted.
Project Description & Location: The Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is a Town-wide plan to improve a system of bicycle and pedestrian routes and associated improvements. The IS/ND found that the Plan does not have environmental effects which will cause direct or indirect adverse environmental effects.

IS/ND Public Review Period: A 20 day public review period for the draft Negative Declaration will commence on October 31, 2014 through November 19, 2014 for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document.
All written comments of the IS/ND shall be received by the Atherton Planning Department, 91 Ashfield Road, Atherton, CA 94027 no later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Comments may be submitted by email, mail, or dropped off at Town Hall.
All persons interested in the above are hereby invited to comment on the IS/ND as specified herein. If you challenge this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Department during the 20 day review period of the IS/ND or at the public meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Department at, or prior to, the meeting.
