The Friends of Atherton Community Library would like to invite you, your family, and friends to come celebrate the newest addition to our Atherton library community, the bronze Toad Sculpture, commissioned by the Friends to celebrate the new library facilities by welcoming readers of all ages into the wonderful world of exploration through literature. The brief sculpture dedication will be followed by an amazing Toad Party which will include the following fun activities for all ages:
• Slime Zoo
• Toad Craft Project
• Toad Sensory Bin
• Toad book giveaway
• Storytime
The dedication speech and unveiling will begin at 4:00 p.m. in front of the statue and activities will take place in the library. Food will be available for purchase at 5:00 p.m. at the Town's last Summer Concert for 2023.
