Daytime auto burglary occurred today at HP Park at about 1:45 PM. The suspect parked his car next to the victim vehicle. He walked over to the victim vehicle placed something on the window, then smashed it open. He removed a purse from the front seat of the vehicle prior to getting back into his vehicle and leaving the park. The suspect is described as, a white male adult about 6'-1", 180lbs, brown/red hair with a closely cropped beard, approximately 40-45 years old. He was last seen driving a silver Mercedes CLK430 AMG license plate 5HTB951. If you see the vehicle please contact the Atherton Police Department at 650.688.6500.
