In an effort to stop distracted driving, traffic enforcement officers from Atherton PD, Burlingame PD, Menlo Park PD, and South San Francisco PD will be working in Atherton and Menlo Park on Friday, September 11, 2015, between 8AM and 4PM.
The goal of this deployment is to focus on ways to change the behavior of drivers through enforcement, public awareness and education – the same activities that have curbed drunk driving and increased seat belt use.
