On 12-10-15, Atherton Police Department detectives arrested Jason Daniel Cerrutti, a 39 year old male resident of Sunnyvale, for burglarizing a residence on Santiago Avenue. The burglary occurred between 11-27-15 and 11-29-15. Cerrutti was arrested at his place of employment and was found to be in possession of items taken from the Santiago Avenue address.
Detectives developed leads in this case when stolen property from the Atherton burglary was discovered by Cerrutti’s employer. Cerrutti’s vehicle contained property not associated with the Atherton burglary; investigators are attempting to link those items with other thefts. Other evidence suggests Cerruitti may have been selling stolen property to auction houses in the Bay Area on Internet sites.
