The 4th Annual "Valpo Fun Run" is taking place on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The race begins at 9:00am at Sacred Heart School, 150 Valparaiso Avenue in Atherton. The race course is as follows:
northbound on Elena Avenue from Sacred Heart School
eastbound on Elena Avenue to Isabella Avenue
eastbound on Isabella Avenue
southbound on Britton Avenue
eastbound on Alejandra Avenue
southbound on the property of Menlo College and Menlo School
westbound on Valparaiso Avenue from Menlo School
northbound on Emilie Avenue
westbound on Park Lane
the race will conclude on the property of Sacred Heart School
Please expect delays due to road closures along the race route from approximately 8:55am to 10:30am. There will be approximately 500 runners running the race, and volunteers will be at each intersection to ensure the safety of the runners and the motorists. The Atherton Police Department will also be present in the area to make sure the event runs smoothly.
If possible, please use alternate routes if your travels normally require you to be on the above streets during the time of the race.
