On 10-24-16 at 11:34 pm, an unknown suspect forced open the side door to a residence on Serrano. The resident was home and began yelling for help after hearing the noise.  Officer responded and cleared the property.  No suspect(s) were located.

The Atherton Police Department wants to remind residents that as the holidays approach, crime increases.  While at home or away, please remember to always lock your doors and windows, and use your alarm system.  Always be alert to your surroundings and report any suspicious activity you see in your neighborhood.
