[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: GAS LEAK STOPPED - MCCORMICK LANE REOPENED
On 08-23-17 at 1:07 PM, the Police Department responded t 35 McCormick Lane to assist the Menlo Park Fire Department and PG&E with a gas line leak. Landscapers at this location severed a gas line.
PG&E stopped the leak and the roadways were reopened at 2:37 PM.
McCormick Lane was closed between Fair Oaks Lane and Burns Avenue during this incident. Watkins Avenue was not closed; the headline of the original news flash was not correct.
Please avoid the area of Watkins Ave due to a road closure caused by a gas main break on McCormick Ave. Fire, Police, and PG&E are on scene and updates will be provided when the road is re-opened.
