To maintain Library services during construction of the Atherton Town Center Project a Temporary Library Modular Building is scheduled to be placed at the corner of Dinkelspiel Station Lane and Maple Avenue. The Town of Atherton has contracted with Redgwick Construction to provide site improvements for the temporary library modular building. The contractors purpose is to provide a site for the modular building as well as all needed ADA compliant pathways and parking.

The contractor will start work this week by installing tree protection. All work will be performed in a manner so as not to interfere with the operations of the Town Center or Library. Temporary construction fencing will be installed to completely separate the public from construction activities. Parking will be limited along Dinkelspiel Station Lane and you may experience some minor traffic delay at the corner of Dinkelspiel Station Lane and Maple Avenue. Public access to the Library will not be closed or obstructed in any way without written permission from the City. In addition, all Library users and the contractor will be required to comply with current limitations on use of public streets. No Parking restrictions on Maple Avenue will be strictly enforced.
