[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglary

On 01/31/2019, at approximately 8:33PM, a residential burglary occurred on the unit block of Santiago Avenue.  The burglar(s) gained entry into the home by smashing a window on the second story.  The burglary alarm for this residence activated while officers were responding to a call of smoke inside a home, which ultimately delayed the officers response time to the burglary alarm on Santiago Avenue.  When Officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the 2nd story balcony glass door window had been smashed.

Based upon the methods used by the suspect(s) to gain entry into the residence, Investigators believe these may be the same suspects responsible for many of the previous burglaries.  It is unknown at this time whether any items were stolen from the victim's home.

With the large number of recent burglaries that have occurred, please be sure to lock your doors, set your alarms, and call the police department immediately if you see or hear anything suspicious.
