Public Workshop on the Atherton Housing Element Update
State law requires Atherton and other California cities and counties to periodically update the Housing Element of their General Plan. The Town is seeking input on the housing goals, objectives and policies that will guide the future residential development of the community.
You are invited to a Public Meeting and Workshop where you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts on how Atherton should plan for the provision of housing for people of all income levels.
The information obtained from the Workshop and other public input will be used to prepare a draft Housing Element Update that will be presented to the Atherton Planning Commission and City Council at public hearings during calendar year 2014.
