[ARCHIVED] Bike Thief/Prowler

On 6/30/20 at 3:40 pm, a resident confronted a suspect who was trying to steal a bicycle from the front of their garage (on Encinal Avenue) . The suspect ran away and hopped onto a different bicycle and rode away. The suspect was last seen riding southbound on Laurel Street towards Menlo Park.

The resident described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his “late teens,” approximately 5’ 8” tall, wearing a black baseball cap, and a black facemask with white piping, a black t-shirt with a red design, dark jeans and a black backpack. The bike was described as dark in color with a red baby carrier.

This suspect fits the description of a prowler seen trespassing in a yard on Greenoaks Drive on Sunday, June 29th at 5:40 pm.

Please keep an eye out for the suspect described above, as he appears to be committing these crimes in broad daylight.
