Three residents called the Atherton Police Department on the morning of November 14 to report they had been victims of thefts overnight on November 13-14. These residents live in the Selby Ln neighborhood near the intersection of Austin Av. In all three cases, the suspect(s) entered unsecured vehicles parked in driveways. In one of the incidents, the suspect(s) entered an unlocked door to a residence and stole an electronic item.
The Police Department continues to ask residents to be vigilant in protecting their property. Please take the time to lock your vehicles and the doors to your home, especially overnight and when you are not at home. If you have an alarm system, please use it.
