The Town of Atherton has contracted Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. for the James Avenue Overlay Project. The contractor’s purpose is to grind and overlay on James Avenue (from Middlefield Road to Magnolia Drive).

During this project, you may experience some delays and roadway closures, use alternate routes if possible. Please remember to make arrangements with your estate staff (gardener, pool company, housekeeper) regarding any special access requirements. Garbage service for that day will not be affected, but may be picked up earlier than normal (so get your cans out early). This project is tentatively scheduled to last 30 working days.
If you live on the streets and will need your vehicles on the day planned for the Overlay and do not plan to leave until after 8 AM, you will need to make arrangements to park your vehicles outside of the project area prior to 8 AM.
