[ARCHIVED] Road construction: 2021 Overlay Project - Road Work Scheduled to begin April 26th, 2021

Road Closed

The Town of Atherton has contracted G. Bortolotto & Co. for the 2021 Overlay Project.  The contractor's purpose is to grind and overlay on the following street segments:

  1. Greenoaks Drive (from James Ave. to Deodora Drive);
  2. Toyon Road (from Oak Grove Ave. to Ringwood Drive);
  3. Oakwood Blvd (from Selby ln to the City limit);
  4. Walsh Road (from Alameda to Tallwood Ct.)

During this project, you may experience some delays and roadway closures,  use alternate routes if possible.  Please remember to make arrangements with your estate staff (gardener, pool company, housekeeper) regarding any special access requirements. Garbage service for that day will not be affected, but may be picked up earlier than normal (so get your cans out early).  This project is tentatively scheduled to last 15 working days.

If you live on the streets and will need your vehicles on the day planned for the Overlay and do not plan to leave until after 8 AM, you will need to make arrangements to park your vehicles outside of the project area prior to 8 AM.
