[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Vaccinations Encouraged

COVID-19

The Town of Atherton strongly encourages every resident in Town, as well as all of our Town staff, to GET VACCINATED for the COVID-19 virus, if health and personal religious beliefs permit it. The Town is in alignment with the County and State in requiring that all individuals, regardless of vaccinated status, wear a face covering when inside public facilities. That policy is subject to becoming more strict as we deal with the different variants of COVID-19.

We must do all that we can as a community to stop the spread of COVID-19.

In the end, the COVID-19 Vaccine is not a cure - it is prevention. We strongly encourage getting the vaccine now, before the time comes when you need something more.

Updates & Information:

  • County COVID-19 Health Dashboards
  • 8/3/21 - San Mateo County Health Officials issued a press release requiring face coverings indoors in public settings. To read further click here.
  • Obtain Vaccine Records, the state of California has provided an online portal to display an electronic vaccination record. The state says individuals who lose their original paper vaccine card can print the digital record from the state’s website.
