On 10/04/21 at approximately 8PM, officers responded to a residence in the unit block of Juniper Drive regarding an in-progress burglary. When officers arrived, they interrupted the suspects and attempted to apprehend them. The suspects ran away on foot and officers chased the suspects. During the foot the chase, the suspects dropped a bag of stolen property. The suspects entered a waiting vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed. Due to the suspect vehicle’s high rate of speed, the surrounding residential area, and the time, officers did not pursue the vehicle.
