Atherton Police Department
Citizens Academy
The Atherton Police Department will postpone the Citizens Police Academy until October 3, 2020. The academy is a one-day citizen engagement program that is designed to provide Atherton residents with first-hand information about how their Police Department works. Training will be in an “academy setting” with a few hands-on exercises designed to give the participant a more realistic sense of what it’s like to work as a peace officer. New Officer Alert:
Igor Davidovich joined the APD in March, welcomed here by Chief McCulley. He began his Field Training with Officer KC MacDonald. Chief McCulley issued some words of encouragement during Officer Davidovich's introduction, stating that we will all get through this together. We will be even more prepared and stronger when we come out on the other side of this local emergency.
