Town Center Construction Updates


Town staff are preparing for transitioning into the new Town Center. As we draw nearer residents will be notified of the move and relocation of Town Hall, the Post Office and Permit Center.

Celebrate Atherton Trees - August 21st & 22nd 


The Atherton Tree Committee will host an event on Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd to celebrate Atherton Trees at Holbrook-Palmer Park.

The Town of Atherton strongly encourages every resident in Town, as well as all of our Town staff, to GET VACCINATED for the COVID-19 virus, if health and personal religious beliefs permit it. The Town is in alignment with the County and State in requiring that all non-vaccinated individuals wear a face covering when inside public facilities. 

COVID-19 Rent Relief Information: 

The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program now covers 100% of unpaid rent & future payments for income-eligible #renters & their landlords impacted by COVID-19. Apply today at HousingIsKey.com. If you’ve already received funds, you will be further compensated to reach 100%.

The indoor Vote-By-Mail ballot drop box is located at the temporary Town Hall at 150 Watkins Avenue - Holbrook Palmer Park. Please note that staff and Town Hall will be transitioning to the new Town Center in mid-to-late August and the drop box will be relocated there at that time, more details will follow.

When preparing for a disaster, you may be forced to leave your home in a hurry! Be prepared and create a small “Bug Out Bag”  to take with you on the go. This bag should include essentials such as food, medicine, and important documents. Caltrain Construction Updates - August 14 to August 20, 2021


On August 21 to August 70, Caltrain will be working during the the day to locate underground utilities. Caltrain will be working at night to install foundations and install equipment on poles. Night work hours will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
