Join the Discussion on Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers


The Town is considering amendments to its restrictions on the use of small gas-powered garden equipment. This equipment includes leaf-blowers, outdoor vacuums, power lawn mowers, power washers, hedge trimmers, Roto-tillers, and other small equipment used in the general maintenance of landscaped areas. Holbrook-Palmer Park - Baseball Field Closure


The infield of the baseball diamond at Holbrook-Palmer Park was re-soded The infield will be closed to the public for two weeks reopening to the public Saturday, February 5th.

A.D.A.P.T will be discussing how best to be prepared in our community in light of the recent local burglaries.  Chief Steven McCulley will be the first guest speaker in the “Ask the Expert Series” at the monthly community meeting.  

Saturday, February 5that Holbrook Palmer Park Pavilion.  Please join for the Chief’s presentation followed by Q and A. This is your chance to ask the Chief about steps you can take to ensure the security of your home and family.
The meeting will be held in person and virtually via Zoom.                           

This is open to residents of other cities as well. Join each month when we provide Atherton-specific disaster and preparedness information and visit our website, getreadyatherton.org, for the latest.

COVID-19 Updates 


Vaccines

  • COVID-19 vaccines (and boosters) are available Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the San Mateo County Event Center, 1346 Saratoga Drive, San Mateo, 94403.

  • All County-operated clinic locations are listed here. Appointments via MyTurn are suggested but not required.



Testing

  • Safe, easy, no-cost testing is available at County-sponsored locations, private testing companies, pharmacies, and at-home test kits available for purchase at pharmacies and other retailers. Find County-supported sites here.
  • Residents should not visit hospital emergency departments solely for COVID-19 testing.

Masks

  • The state has extended the indoor mask mandate through Feb. 15, 2022.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides a guide, “Wear a mask with the best fit, protection, and comfort for you.”
