Closed for Columbus Day

The Town is closed this Monday, October 8 to observe the Columbus Day holiday. Construction is allowed this day!

The Police Department remains open.

The Town will re-open on Tuesday, October 9 at 8:00 a.m.


ADAPT meeting tomorrow....

Please join ADAPT Community Meeting tomorrow morning from 9am to 10:30am in the Town Council Chambers at 94 Ashfield Road. Coffee and bagels will be served, compliments of Chief McCulley and his staff who will be in attendance.

The City Council will meet jointly with the Planning Commission on Wednesday, October 10 at 6PM in the Council Chambers to discuss the Heritage Tree Ordinance. - AGENDA LINK

Staff, along with the Tree Committee and Planning Commission are evaluating the existing heritage tree regulations both within the Municipal Code and the Tree Preservation Guidelines Standards and Specifications (“Guidelines”). The City Council and Planning Commission are reviewing the proposed revisions and will discuss a series of amendments related to removal of trees, types of heritage trees, measurement of trees, property development location, tree protection zones, and maintenance and protection obligations of property owners during construction and implementation of the Ordinance and associated Guidelines. The Ordinance and Guidelines will return to the City Council at a future meeting for adoption.

Join us for a Spooktacular Time!

It's that time of year again! The Town will be having a Halloween Event full of fun, treats, and friendly fright! Join us on Friday, October 26 from 3pm - 6pm. The event will feature a Halloween jumpy house, balloon twisting, a costume contest with prizes, delicious treats, and Mister Softee's soft-serve ice cream for purchase! The haunted house is intended for children ages 6-12 years old. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your best costume and get ready for another exciting Town event!
