Atherton Arts Foundation is celebrating the arts at the end of the summer by artists who live and work in Atherton and surrounding areas. Satturday, September 21st at Holbrook-Palmer Park, Jennings Pavilion from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm they are hosting a free event open to the public.

Holbrook Palmer Park

Holbrook-Palmer Park Updates

Holbrook-Palmer Park is becoming Glyphosate Free. 
Pursuant to Council direction, effective September 1, 2019, glyphosate products will no longer be used in Holbrook Palmer Park. All glyphosate materials have also been removed from the park. The Town’s maintenance contractor, MCE, has trained their staff in the use of Reward, an alternate broad-spectrum herbicide. As other broad-spectrum herbicides are not as effective as the previous product, weeds may be a bit more prevalent and more frequent spraying is required.

Noise Abatement at SFO

San Francisco Airport has introced a new Aircraft Noise Tracking Technology. The tool gives you a near real-time look at actual flight tracks and noise levels around the airport. You can investigate aircraft-related noice events, submit community concerns directly to the SFO Aircraft Noise Abatement Office and more. The tool enables you to perform a variety of funtions such as displaying map layers of major SFO arrival and departure routes and noise contours.
