Town Meetings

The Parks and Recreation Committee will have a Special Meeting on Tuesday, October 29th at 5:30 pm. To view the agenda visit Park and Recreation Agenda.

The Transportation Committee meeting has been canceled. The next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Atherton PD Schools Meeting

The Atherton Police Department held its annual Atherton Schools Meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd. Officer KC MacDonald lead the group of School Administrators through a presenation to discuss topics and issues related to the Police Departments initiatives and plans at our schools. Chief McCulley, Councilmember's Wiest, DeGolia, and Lempres were all on hand to participate in this partnership building event. The Chief and Councilmembers shared the Town's committment to providing exceptional service to our residents and schools.

Halloween is Next Week

Holloween at the Park will be Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5pm - 7pm.

Join us for a family-friendly event, kids of all ages and sizes are welcome to come and play. The Costume Contest will start at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

PSPS Tracking

Public Safety Power Shutoff (PG&E)

PG&E has has planned Public Safety Power Shutoffs for areas within and surrounding San Mateo County. Although the Town of Atherton is not belived to be in the area that will be directly affected PG&E has provided a website where you can enter your property address to determine if you are within a planned outage area.

Alarm Monitoring in Atherton

The Town of Atherton provides an Alarm Monitoring service to residents. Atherton Municipal Code and the Towns Master Fee Schedule outline the requirements and fees for this service. There is an initial installation fee of $100.00 and an annual fee of $50.00. To view the Municipal Code visit 08.04.050. To view the Towns fee schedule visit Master Fee Schedule.
